The paper titled “Non-Invasive Complete Hemodynamic Model to Investigate the Effect of Multi-Stenosis in Patient-Specific Coronary Arteries”, jointly prepared by research assistants Hacer Duzman and E. Cenk Ersan, and Prof. Dr. M. Serdar Çelebi from the Informatics Institute Computational Science and Engineering Program at ITU, has been awarded the Best Paper Award at the European Simulation and Modelling Conference (ESM’25).

International HPC Summer School 2025 – Buğra Eyidoğan

Buğra Eyidoğan, a master's student, was selected to attend the International HPC Summer School (IHPCSS) held in Lisbon, Portugal, from July 6–11, 2025. Organized collaboratively by leading HPC institutions from Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, and Japan, this program brings together early-career researchers from around the world to engage in training on high-performance computing (HPC). The program included a rich schedule of expert-led lectures, interactive hands-on sessions, mentorship opportunities, and cross-cultural networking aimed at advancing scientific computing capabilities globally.

A New Tübitak Project is Started: “Hemodynamic Simulation of Supra Left Ventricular Heart Blood Flow Coupled with Coronary Arteries”

An exciting new TÜBİTAK 1001 funded research project titled "Hemodynamic Simulation of Supra Left Ventricular Heart Blood Flow Coupled with Coronary Arteries" aims to develop advanced computational models to simulate and analyze blood flow dynamics between the heart and coronary arteries. The project officially started on February 20, 2025.

TÜBİTAK Funds New Research on Genetic Variants and Drug Candidates

Asst. Prof. Vildan Enisoğlu Atalay has received funding for the TÜBİTAK 1002-A project “Analysis of Harmful Missense SNPs Associated with Congenital Lactose Intolerance and Identification of New Drug Candidate Molecules In Silico.” Additionally, the TÜBİTAK 1001 project “Identification of Therapeutic Agents Targeting Chlamydia Inclusion Membrane Protein (IncA) In Silico and Investigation of Their In Vitro Activity,” in which she serves as a researcher, has also been approved.
